We've had a ton of conversation with Jack about God lately. It's so amazing to see how his little mind works and hear his thoughts on God. He talks about God like He is just another cool guy to hang out with and has so many questions about God - a lot of them we have a hard time finding an answer that is acceptable to Jackson.
Here a just a few of the conversations we have had about God lately:
While driving to church one Sunday, Jackson asked if God was driving to church like we were. When we said "no, He wasn't driving" he asked HOW God was getting to church. Was He flying? Or walking? We told him God was just always at church - to which he responded "Why??"
We were walking one beautiful morning and I was pointing out what a gorgeous day it was and that we should thank God for the sun and the birds and the grass. Jackson thought about this and then asked "Mommy, is God eating breakfast?". When I told him no he asked if God was eating his snack. When I told him God was not eating a snack he asked me "What is God doing, then??"
I had to take Jack for an x-ray on Friday (he swallowed a penny, we never "found" it and then doctor wanted to make sure it wasn't stuck somewhere). While we were waiting I explained that someone would come out and call his name. He asked me who would call his name and I said I didn't know. He was quiet for a minute and said "Will it be God?? Will God be the one to call out my name??"

I love it. So cool to see how their minds are processing things. Love the fact that during singing the blessing, he had to take a drink. Love you, Jack.
