Jackson's hair is a source of a lot of discussion in our house these days. He has grown some incredibly adorable (in my opinion - dont ask Lee what he thinks) curls. They are precious and getting more numerous every day. The only problem is we have no idea what to do with it. The curls are so cute but so out of control - no matter what we do with it.We have tried everything - blow drying after his showers, gel, wetting it in the morning (his hair is absolutely out of control in the morning) but he really does not like us wetting it. We have tried cutting it shorter around his ears, having the hair cut lady try to style it. Everywhere we go we get comments on how precious his hair is but I feel like we walk out of the house with him looking like we haven't put a brush to his head in days. This picture was taken after about 10 minutes of hair brushing, wetting his hair and trying desperately to get it under control.
Lee has decided he wants to get Jackson a buzz cut or cut it really short like the picture below. While I know it would be so much easier and a lot less hassle I just dont know that I want to cut off these curls - even if it does add an extra 20 minutes into our getting ready routine.

Don't cut the curls - they are part of who he is and who he came from!! He looks great with all of those curls!!! Maybe Lee is just jealous. Collin's hair still grows straight up at the crown and there is nothing that will make it stay down!!! Love to all of you!!!! K
