Put Me In Coach...

And so begins the season of our life where we rush out the door to practices and games, enjoy late dinners of cold food and cheer on our sweet boy in his first team sport. And we are loving it!

Jackson started league soccer this fall (summer - it is still SO hot out there) with Lee as his coach. He is playing in the 4 yr old league - probably on of the only times he will be the youngest one because of his birthday. Games dont start until September 11th but practices began 2 weeks ago. Lee has those 4 yr olds running all over the field - he does such a great job and the kids have a great time. They are the Panthers - there are about 4 other teams they play against.

Jackson was super excited about his official soccer gear - cleats and shin guards. I can only imagine how hot those things must be out there on the field but he loves wearing them.

Lee trying to get the kids to stand in line during the first practice. This is not their strongest area but they sure do love running and kicking the ball. Lee keeps saying "they just wont stand in line" I remind him that they are four.

Our man in action...Man, they grow up so fast.

I am sure there will be many more soccer posts to come.

He looks so big and grown up. Just want to hug his cute self.

Can't wait to see if the next one looks like him too. :)
