Jackson has a new obsession - gum. Serious obsession. We had talked to him about waiting until he was 5 yrs old until he could chew gum but that went out the window the day his friend, Riley, shared a piece of gum with him. He did so great with it and understood that he couldn't swallow it and had to spit it in the trash when he was tired of it. He has not had any problems with it - except asking 2 million times a day if he can have gum. He only gets chewing gum (as he and Lee call it) not bubble gum or gum balls or anything crazy like that. But he LOVES it.
We've had to limit him to one piece of gum a day - he usually asks for it right after breakfast. He is so exicted about it he cant wait any longer. His dentist actually said a piece of Trident every once in a while is not a bad thing - as most preschoolers dont floss and the gum helps keep his teeth clean after meals. Not sure that the dentist meant a peice of gum every day - but I think he will live.

I love that you got this on video. Super cute. Caleb has not had gum yet, but he keeps asking for it. I want to wait awhile too so let's see if that happens.
Hunter had his first piece of gum a few weeks ago and loves it too! I hope you and your family are doing well!
Landree doesn't get it. We will talk about it (I let her try last year on the plane and we've tried few other times-I should let her try again) and tell her to spit it out when she's done and she'll say she understands and then she says she chewed it all up...
We'll try again later.
