The snow started last Friday evening - it was beautiful. So peaceful with the snow falling quietly on the ground. When we woke up Saturday morning there was probably about 4 inches (I could be wrong) of snow on the ground and it was still snowing!
It was very cold so it was an icy snow - not very good for making snow balls but Jack and Lee sure did try. This is the first snow we have experienced where Jack was old enough to actually enjoy it. He made (or tried to make) snow angels, a snow man and had tons of fun having snow ball fights with Daddy and Aiden (our neighbor).
Still dont have my camera (I'm getting it this week) but the video camera worked great! This is Lee, Jack and Aiden and Lara (our neighbors) playing in the snow. You can actually hear the icy snow falling while they play.
Unfortunately, now I am tired of the snow. It is Friday - a week after it started - and we still have a little bit of snow on the ground. It has been so cold this week and almost impossible to get outside so the snow hasn't had much of a chance to melt. Now, they are calling for more snow tonight and even colder temps next week. Ugh - spring cannot come fast enough.
