Show Day!!!

We signed Jack up for a class at the Little Gym a few months ago. I didn't know what to expect but knew that he would be doing one day of preschool starting in January and we needed a little more structure to our days. Now that the cold weather is here and parks are out of the question he needed one more outlet for all his energy.

We love it!!! It is such a cute class!! It is an independent class, which means he participates in the class with 2 other teachers and about 12 other kids without the parents. We can watch from outside the gym area or we can run errands or just read a book. I love watching him participate in this class!! And he LOVES it!!! He gets so excited about going every Monday and smiles through the entire class.

His class had a Show Day a few weeks ago. This is just a time to show off all the stuff they learned in class - the parents/grandparents, etc get to sit in the gym and watch them. Jackson was a little overwhelmed with the amount of people that were in the gym and got a little shy. He had just started taking the class about 5 weeks before the show day and the other kids had been there about 6 months but he was super cute!

This is a video of the beginning of the show time where each little one got to introduce themselves and do a little forward roll. Jackson didnt want to introduce himself but he did do his forward roll. He did get a little more comfortable as the class went and and actually started showing off and being silly.
