I like this being sick thing...

Jack's first popsicle!!!

Jackson woke up Thursday morning with a fever and no appetite. I took him to the doctor for the flu test, strep test and check up - turns out he just has a virus. His pediatrician told me to push fluids on him and not worry about eating. Jack is a milkaholic so pushing milk on him is not a problem but she said to try to get water and other fluids in him, especially when his fever got up there. After his very long nap (he's a great sleeper when he's sick) he drank some milk and water AND had his very first popsicle. We bought these on the recommendation of the pharmacist when Jackson was getting his molars and hadn't opened them up yet. He loved it!!! He took a few licks with me holding it and then grabbed it and went to town. The facial expressions were the best. He didnt want to give it up.
