4 months...

I cannot believe it has been 4 months since this little guy came into our lives. Most days I want to just stop time - it is going way too fast. Jacob is just the sweetest little baby in the world - not the best sleeper in the world but his sweetness makes up for that. (Lee calls him the happiest, non-sleeping baby in the world. He has a wake-up time of about 5:00 am. No matter what we do this is when he has decided he will get up. So I have just decided that I will use that time to read my bible, pray and exercie before Jackson gets up. It's nice to have all that done before Jack gets up but, boy, am I tired come 7:00 pm. )

Jacob laughs at everything and smiles all day long. He loves his big brother - who can always get a laugh out of him. He is quite the little talker also. Some days he can almost compete with his brother in the talking area (and that is quite a feat seeing how Jack talks non stop).

He is growing like a little weed - we haven't had his 4 month check-up yet but he is a chunky little monkey. He inherited his daddy's long arms and legs - most of his clothes dont fit him in those 2 areas.

He can almost sit up on his own - Jackson and I had him sitting unsupported the other day and he stayed sitting for about 10 seconds before toppling over. He is drooling everywhere and has found his little hands and feet, which are always in his mouth.

He loves his Daddy and will turn his head the minute he hears him walk in the room. He does the same thing for his brother.

We love this little guy and are enjoying every, single day with him. Realizing how incredibly fast the past 4 years went with Jackson has made me stop and appreciate every little thing with Jacob. God has given us such strength to get through the days after many sleepless nights. We know that our boys are a true blessing and enjoy them noth so much.
