Open up and say "ahhhh"

Jackson had his first trip to the dentist last week. We have talked about going for a while now but wanted to wait until I had an appointment so we could go together. He was most excited about using the "spitty cup" like in Finding Nemo. Unfortunately, there was no spitty cup but he really liked "Mr. Thirsty" as the hygenist called that sucky thing that gets all the water out of your mouth.

Jackson did great!!! I cannot say enough about our new dentist! Everyone was so great with him and made such a big deal about his first dentist trip. I even forgot my camera (bad mommy, I know) so one of the other hygenists took pictures for me and emailed them to me.

He left the dentist with a clean set of teeth, 2 stickers, new bubble gum toothpaste and 2 toothbrushes. He should have only gotten 1 but he's such a charmer he talked them into 2. Actually, he wanted a super hero toothbrush, which was a size bigger than what the hygenist wanted him to have. As the dentist was checking my teeth I could hear him talking to the hygenist about the super hero toothbrush he wanted to have and she kept trying to push a Tigger or Pooh toothbrush on him. He ended up with both. What a charmer!

The pictures are just a little blurry because they were cell phone pictures but I am SO thankful to actually have pictures of his first dentist appointment!!!
