THREE!!!!!!

Jackson turned 3 last week - I cannot believe how quickly he is growing up. You hear it almost every day when you are struggling through the first few weeks with a newborn, "They grow up so fast. Enjoy every minute." All I remember thinking at that time was, "Am I ever going to sleep like a normal person again?"

But, seriously, these 3 years have just flown by. I cannot believe how big he is getting and how much he changes every day. I have truly learned to enjoy every, single moment I have with this crazy little kid. He makes us laugh every single day. He is asking us questions and making amazing little statements every day that show us how much he is growing up. Sometimes I have to stop and think before I answer him because he has truly asked me a tough question. Love it!!

We had a family party for Jackson - Papa, Mimi and Grandpa came up to celebrate Jack's 3rd year of life. We had a wonderful weekend - Jackson really enjoyed having his grandparents here for a weekend and we enjoyed being able to have all three grandparents here at the same time.

This video is the family singing "Happy Birthday" to Jackson. He picked out this massive ice cream cake from Dairy Queen and totally enjoyed every minute of it. (Actually - we enjoyed the cake more. Jackson had a few bites and decided he was more interested in opening his presents). But - look at that smile on my boy's face - priceless.
