Yep, that's right. It snowed in SC - and everything shut down. It was actually beautiful and so amazing to experience this first with Jackson. Lee and I got up to watch the snow come down and then watched the news as they listed the many, many closings for the day. Unfortunately, Sysco never closes so Lee had to go to work. Jack woke up and I opened his blinds to show him the snow - he was not as excited as I was. Once we got bundled up and outside, though, he thoroughly enjoyed himself. It was super cold (as I guess it should be when it snows) so we would go out of 20-30 minutes, come back in to warm up and then head back out. Kind of tiring to keep bundling ourselves up but he didn't seem to mind - especially because I allowed him to wear his monkey pajamas shirt all day - he loves spending the day in his jammies.
It really started coming down after being out for a few minites. Jackson said "Mommy - winny (windy)" and then the wind picked up and the snow started coming.

Our first trip out - not quite sure what to make of it. There wasn't enough snow to make much of a snowball - but we sure did try.

In his monkey jammies watching the snow come down and the big kids play.

I love the expressions on his face as he looks at the snow. Caleb did kind of the same thing. Guess I would be amazed too at their age.
It was a nice surprise since we don't usually get anything. :)
