Oh, and some pictures...

What kind of mommy posts about her child's first real bike ride and doesn't post pictures??? (Well, the kind of mommy who has a really bad cold, isn't sleeping well at night because of said cold, whose little bike rider has decided that this week, of all weeks, is a good time to take very short naps and whose computer is sooo slow that posting pictures has started taking 3x the amount of time it should.)

But - I posted some anyways - just becasue they are so darn cute!!

For some reason they posted backwards - this is what happens when Jackson decided he's all done with his bike ride. He climbs off says "sit right here" and plops down in the closest driveway. I can always tell when he is getting tired because he stops every two seconds to point out something (birds, airplanes, leaves, mailboxes, ants, dirt, worms, anything).


Notice the fancy footwork - bike riding without the pedals. It's pretty amazing to see him stop - his poor shoes will definitely not last this winter at the rate he is going.


Little wild man on a bike. I took tons of pictures of Jackson with the infamous tongue sticking out. Seriously, about half of the pictures I took had this face. No wonder he is so thirsty when we finally get home.

Lovin' the outdoors. He will usually request his glasses and helmet once or twice during his ride. I decided against bringing them along - figuring that it would just prolong the already long bike ride while he tries to adjust both the glasses and helmet to fit just perfectly (he's not Lee Woodham's child at all).
