I guess things have been pretty hectic around here but, honestly, I just haven't felt like taking the time to sit down and post. I'm here now and will hopefully start taking the time now.
We are having a wonderful time with Jackson!! He is such a sweet, funny little boy (he's 2 now so I can say little boy). He Loves (notice the capital L) to be outside. It's the first thing we do in the morning (we were actually outside last Friday at 7:45 am - waiting on the trash truck, of course) and the last place he wants to be before bed. We actually have to drag him inside at bedtime. The good thing is that I am getting a ton of yard work done. Not such good news for the inside of my house but, oh well, if I had my choice I would spend my days outside too. Can't say I blame him - the weather is gorgeous. But my guess is he would be outside in the rain, snow, sleet.
Jack still loves his bike. Here's the story behind this picture: I take a Pilates class at my gym. The instructor's name is Mr. R (we'll call him that for the sake of privacy) - he lives just down the street from us and rides his bike everywhere. Jack and I see him all the time when we are outside and Mr. R will stop and talk to us. Mr. R. wears a helmet while riding his bike (like all smart people do) and sunglasses. Jack loves that and always talks about Mr. R, his bike, glasses and helmet. The other day Jack was out riding his bike and asked for his helmet and glasses. We actually have a helmet that came as part of a riding tractor and, of course, we have several pair of Jack-size glasses. Well he put those on and thought he was sooo cool, just like Mr. R.
Our favorite new picture of Jackson. I call this his "cheesy smile". This is the smile he uses when you pull out the camera and he knows you are going to take a picture. Notice all those teeth - we are finally working on his 2-year molars (almost through with those, hopefully!!). Also notice the curly hair. His hair is almost to the point of getting unruly. I have cut it several times in back to keep the mullet factor under control but have decided not to touch the adorable curls on the rest of his hair. Love him!!!

I love the fact that he wants to look like Mr. R. So funny. I am sure that Mr. R will get a kick out of that.
Love the pictures. I had remembered you saying that you needed to post something new, but had not seemed to find the time to post. Glad to see some new shots of the funny little boy.
So glad you posted!! He has grown since your last post!! And the teeth - when did he get all of those teeth!?! We are traveling through the first of October - hoping to make it to NC in time to see Robert arrive home. We cannot wait to see Robert and Collin together. He is definitely not the baby that he left 7 months ago. Love you all 3!! Kathy
