Keeping up with Jack & Jacob: New hangouts...

Newsflash - we are about 3 weeks away from putting our house on the market (bad timing but we desperately want a bigger home). I know, I know - we've only been talking about this for 1 (maybe 2) year(s).

We actually found the cutest neighborhood about 5 miles from Lee's job (right now he has about a 60 mile round trip drive). Moving to this area would only save him about 250 miles of driving a week, 90 minutes of driving time and a ton of gas. Plus, it would get him back in his man car (he's been driving my Saturn for a few weeks and I've been driving the gas guzzling tank). The neighborhood is adorable - older homes, lots of young families, big yards with trees (you dont see that much here in Lexington). It's about a 1/2 mile walk to the cutest park (notice our pictures). I absolutely love older homes and just feel like they have so much more character. Most of them have the updates we want (kitchen, bathrooms, flooring). The only hard thing would be leaving Lexington and being so close to all of our friends. It's something we are praying about. The neighborhood is right next to the interstate and would take about 20 minutes to get to church (we wouldn't consider moving too far away from church). We'll see - and keep everyone updated.

Anyways, enjoy the pictures of our trip to the park. It is so cute and has so many cute things for Jack to play with. Besides the fact that it was 105 degrees that afternoon, he had a great time.

Hey, Mom, look at me!!! Isn't this the funniest picture?? I think he looks like a little old man. This was in a little tunnel leading between slide areas. He loved this tunnel. Must have felt like a sauna in there but he loved it.

So, Jack will probably be so mad at me when he is older for only posting funny pictures of him but we love this picture. All of the slides in this park give Jack static hair. Doesn't he look like Einstein??? We kept sending him down the slides and then cracking up at how he looked. Poor kid.
