Jack woke up Monday morning with tummy issues and a high fever. Turns out he just has a virus but, man, what a horrible time to get one. I spent my whole morning with a screaming Jackson at the doctors office. I think he remembers now what happens in that office (shots). The minute the nurse walked in (and she is the absolute sweetest person in the world) he started screaming and didn't stop until we got in the car (where he proceeded to fall fast asleep). He even started clapping/ crying/ screaming "BYE BYE!!!" "ALL DONE"" YAY!!" when the doctor left the room becasue he thought we were all done. I guess we also missed the window of opportunity for nap time today or he felt like the little 20 minute snooze he got in the car would suffice becasue, sadly, no nap today. And I really needed one...

So sad that Jack did not feel well. Also, so sad that he did not take a nap yesterday. Hopefully he will take one today. We will pray for that.
