Jackson's first camping trip

We had our first experience camping with a toddler this past weekend (pre-strep throat). Camping is something that Lee and I enjoyed a lot before Jack. We learned that camping with a toddler is A LOT more work than camping without a toddler. I don't think Lee sat down the whole trip. Lee's dad, brother and his fiancee and my parents joined in the fun. Jackson had the best time. My dad brought a little fishing pole for Jack that he loved and we took Jack out on the boat a few times. He was so exhausted that he actually fell asleep in my arms on the boat.

This is Jackson fishing with his brand new fishing pole. He loved that pole and carried it around with him the whole time.

Once again, Jack with the fishing pole. My dad was also fishing at the same time and wanted to show Jack how to fish but Jackson would not let go of that pole for one second.

Daddy getting Jack ready for his boat ride. Jack said "boat" the entire time we were there. Getting ready took longer than the actual boat ride.

Daddy and Jack Jack. This one speaks for itself...Jack couldn't ask for a better daddy.
