That's right, I've been tagged! Rachel actually tagged me a few days ago in a game of blogger tag but with Jack being so sick I hadn't checked my blog/email in days. So, here's the deal...I have to give 10 random, little known facts about myself and then tag 5 other people to do the same thing. I dont know how easy the 10 random facts will be b/c I feel like everyone knows all my little quirks but I'll try. Here goes..
1. When I was very young (5 or 6ish) I just knew I would grow up to be a writer. I actually used to put together little books (pictures mostly) using computer paper my dad brought home from work. I think this was my "What I want to be when I grow up" thing until about freshman english in college...
2. I really don't like eating or drinking after people. I know most of you know this but there might be a few people who don't. It's just been in the last few years that I would share a drink with Lee. I don't know why - it just grosses me out.
3. The place I want to visit before I die is Greece. I didnt make it there when I was in Europe and hate that I missed that opportunity. Jeanette and Rachel brought back such amazing pictures. Lee and I will go there one day (he's promised me).
4. My favorite all time book is The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. I read it in 9th or 10th grade and fell in love with it. I actually checked it out from the library several months ago but never read it. Too busy with Jack, I guess.
5. I have set a goal to run a marathon before I turn 35. I never thought I would want to b/c after running a 1/2 marathon I thought "Who would be crazy enough to do that all over again"????
6. I slept (ate, played, went to school) with a blanket until I was 6 or 7 (was it older??). My aunt made it for me when I was a baby and I carried that think EVERYWHERE!! I dont remember how my parents talked me into getting rid of it, so it wasn't that traumatic. I loved that blanket. Now Jack has a blanket that he loves and carries around the house.
7. I wouldn't touch bananas or seafood until college. My love for seafood came about b/c I worked at a seafood restaurant in college and got to eat for free...so why not?? I wouldnt recommend anyone else eat there or actually pay for their food but when it's free and you're in college on a very limited budget - there are worse things. My roommate in college ate a TON of bananas and I guess I just learned it from her. Now I dont know what I would do without either one of those.
8. I cannot stand to have people touch my feet. Pedicures have always been hard for me...
9. I had to be enrolled in speech therapy in grade school for one year. I couldn't say "r", which is hard when your last name is Burke - it came out like booooook
10. My sister fell off of the high dive onto the concrete at the swimming pool when she was young. This high diving board was very high - she got up and walked away.
Now I have to tag five people...Of course, it will be Jennifer G, Jennifer B, Traci, Kathy and hmm...I need to think of one more person.

Love your top ten! I didn't know you ran a half marathon! Wanna train for the Marine Corps Marathon this October? I'm thinking about it... we could virtually train!?!
Is this Kathy me or someone else?? Just went to Beth Moore in Jacksonville - great, great 2 days. I am on my way to Kaiti's to babysit Collin while she works. David has been there since last Wednesday when Robert left. Miss you all!! Give Jackson a hug for me. love, Kathy
