Jacob...through Jackson's eyes

Just a little disclaimer before reading this post...Jacob is doing MUCH better now. But, we did realize that sometimes the only way to get through a tough time is with constant prayer, keeping our eyes and hearts focused on Jesus and a good sense of humor.

As most of you know, Jacob had a rough few weeks in the beginning. Whether it was reflux or colic or both - it was rough. We actually nicknamed him Screamy b/c all he did was cry. Or scream. Our patience was definitely tested - but we now have a happy, sweet baby.

Jack was talking about family in school and we were asked to bring a family picture in for a special project.

This is what we got home and is still hanging on our wall. I love it. Life through the eyes of my sweet 4 year old.

This is our family picture. Go Gamecocks!!! And Jackson's house drawn underneath.
His house - drawn by him (with a little help from his teachers).

And....Jacob. Notice the not so happy face on my little man. Who knows what he told his teachers. Looks like a happy face was originally drawn and THEN the frowny face was added.

This is definitely a keeper.
