Preschool!!!

Jackson officially started preschool this year. He has gone to school one day/week for the past 2 years but this year was his grand entrance into the world of preschool. He was so excited!! He is attending 3 days/week and is in a "big-boy" class at school. He attended this school last year, knows the teachers and classrooms and is so excited about being one of the big kids.

I will not lie and say that his first day was your "typical" tons of pictures taken, lots of sweet kisses, tears at the door days. It was not. We had been home from the hospital with Jacob for a little more than 36 hours and were still in the adjustment to home phase. We were about 20 minutes late, forgot his backpack, Jackson fell and skinned his knee running into school and I can honestly say I do not know if I brushed my teeth that morning. But he made it - and he had a GREAT time!

The 2nd day went much smoother for everyone - except we forgot his backpack again. Maybe we need to put it out by the door the night before.

Here are a few of the pictures I got...

Is anyone else dealing with the "I dont want my picture taken and if you take it I will only make a funny face phase"??? Jackson definitely does not want his picture taken. Ever.

So excited about school he decided to run. This was about 30 seconds before his big tumble. He was a big man about it though and only had a few tears.

His teacher, Ms. Redus, helping him find his bear with his name on it. He has to find the bear every morning and put the bear in the basket.

2nd day - running into school once again. No major falls this day, thankfully.

They also have nametags for the first week. Jackson does such a good job recognizing his name and picking out his nametag and teddy bear.
We are so proud of our big man and excited to see what he learns this year!

Friend, Landree went to preschool preview on when I was in the hospital last year. The morning we took her my mom was here and I was dead set on going-my boobs leaked all over my nursing bra and shirt and I didn't have another one to put on. We couldn't remember Landree's folder the entire year! I bought about 10 and took to school that way they couldn't hound me about bringing it back :)

And yes Landree does the same thing for the camera, unless I try to take Hudson's pictures. Just try to take Jacob's picuture-then Jack will perk up :)

He looks so big. We are always late to school and seem to forget something, but it is usually breakfast or a toy for Caleb to play in the car.

Caleb also does the same thing, but will smile really big when we are taking a picture of Samuel.
