2 years ago, on September 15th, we were blessed with the greatest gift from God. We never knew how much joy, happiness, love, tenderness, pride and yes, worry, we would feel with this amazing child in our lives. He is growing and changing before our eyes - learning something new each and every day. We are so excited to see him becoming the young man God created him to be and so thankful we get to be a part of his life.
I know that I have learned and will continue to learn so much more from Jack than I could have ever been taught in school or anywhere else. He's the joy of our lives and we love him more than I know how to put into words.
A few pictures from Jackson's party. We celebrated with our friends and family at Pastor Bill's pool. It turned out to be a beautiful day - perfect for swimming and eating some cupcakes.
Jack, Grandpa, Mimi and Papa - along with the purple dump truck from Caleb. Wouldn't have been a party without the grandparents. Uncle PJ and Aunt Miranda also made it up for the party!!
It also wouldn't be a pool party at Pastor Bill's without the appearance of Flash, Pastor Bill's raft floating dog.
Jackson and his friends opening his presents. Ever notice how 2 year olds have no qualms about helping their friends open their gifts? I think it's the cutest thing ever.
Caleb in cupcake prison. We did Carolina colors - even after their loss to Vanderbilt the Thursday before (of course, Lee begged me to change the colors). The kids were covered in garnet and black icing.

I love this picture of Caleb. So funny. It really looks like he was in prison. At least he had been able to eat a cupcake. :)
It really has been a whirlwind of birthdays. At least it was with friends. :)
