Sunday afternoon was a madhouse around here. Lee had to work for a few hours and Jackson and I were heading over to Patrick and Traci's house for a small group swim party. What I forgot was that we had gone swimming the afternoon before and all our swim stuff was wet, on the porch trying to dry or in the washing machine. I was rushing around like a crazy woman trying to get everything together and not paying much attention to Jack. My mistake. He was very quiet and I just figured he had found a good book and his sheep chair. Nope. He found the toilet paper. Now, I do allow Jack to tear a piece of toilet paper and flush it with me in the bathroom. It's kind of his treat for going potty. The bathroom door is usually kept closed or the toilet paper put up. Unfortunately, this day it was not. And Jackson discovered this. A whole roll gone. He had a wonderful time, though. Welcome to toddlerhood!!

Grandpa gift and toilet paper fun
Grandpa (Lee's dad) got Jack a sheep chair for Jack's first Christmas. It has actually served as a very nice monitor base holder in Jack's room - until last week. Jack discovered the chair (he was just too young for it before) and fell in love with it. Lately, anytime he disappears or becomes unusually quiet I can find him nuzzling up against the chair or sitting in it reading books or stitting by it reading books to the sheep.

That definitely looks like fun. It still amazes me how much fun they can find out of something that is not even a toy.
