Jackson swam, played at the splash park, flew kites at the beach, built sandcastles, went on his first bike ride and ate his share of popsicles. You'll notice when I post all the pics that I'm in only one or two pictures. The water was WAY too cold for me and that's where Jack wanted to spend his time. Lee didn't mind, though, so they had some great Daddy bonding time. There were a few times we had to drag Jackson away from the slpash park with blue, shivering lips.
Lee, Chance (my nephew) and I rented bikes (one with a baby seat for Jackson). We rode all over the place on those bikes - Jackson LOVED it!! He would yell "Wheeeeee!! More! More!" the whole time. By far his favorite thing to do was the splash park - there was a lazy river and buckets with falling water and a submarine where he could walk around and get soaked. We would take the tram (an oversized golfcart) from the pool/splash park to the beach and Jack would play in the sand.
