The Sweetness of Jack

My last post talked about our grumpy boy and the rough week we were experiencing. Things are much better (think it's a few teeth poking through) - but thank you for the prayers. They worked!!

Thought I would follow up that last post with a post about how incredibly sweet my baby boy can be. It's been amazing to see how God is developing his personality and to watch him become such a sweet, gentle boy.

Yesterday afternoon while Jack and I were playing in his room he found his beloved blankie (he is like Linus with this blankie and never goes to sleep without it). He started acting really sleepy and rolling around on the floor with his blankie - then he patted the floor next to him asking me to lie down with him. I did but said "Mommy doesn't have a nice, soft blankie to cuddle with like Jack does". Well, Jack immediately got up and left the room - I thought "ok" that's the end of our rest time but continued to lie on the floor (remember previous post about our busyness, i.e. tiredness). Just a few seconds later Jack came back to the room with a pillow from the couch for me, laid it under my head and then got right back down on the floor next to me. Just wanting to make sure Mommy is comfortable too. So sweet!!!
